THE Meadow
The Meadow
is an immersive story-telling and ceremonial herbal experience. She has been made using traditional folk herbal techniques.
Ingredients & Benefits
The Meadow is a tea ceremony that has been generously made with organic herbs, blended for anxiety and restlessness. While it looks, tastes and smells like a sweet meadow of wildflowers, this is more than just a herbal remedy.
From the moment the lid is opened, you are transported to your own world within. Through the use of music, story-telling, a tea ritual that includes a reflective writing exercise and the planting of heirloom wildflower seeds, this experience will live on long after it is over.
This kit has been thoughtfully designed as a gift of deep nurturance and care for yourself or others. It is highly encouraged that you undertake the writing ritual and steep the tea every night until completion. This combination of contemplation with action has the ability to soothe your restless mind and create a lasting impact on your life.
The teapot enclosed has been expertly designed with high-borosilicate glass and a smooth timber handle, making it easy to steep and drink straight from the teapot itself.

How it works
Upon opening the gift, the first step is to scan the Spotify playlist and begin the music. It is encouraged that you engage with this tea ceremony of an evening and before bed.
Place the recommended amount of loose herbs into the internal glass strainer of the tea-pot.
Pour boiling water into the teapot, leaving one inch free at the top before securing the lid.
While the tea steeps, you might like to read the story and then sit with the writing exercise enclosed. As you are guided into an understanding of what The Meadow is asking of you, you might begin the task of contemplating any negative and self-limiting beliefs that you feel ready to let go of. Once you have reached a point of clarity, these beliefs are to be written on the designed eco paper, torn into pieces and composted at the bottom of a pot of soil. When you feel ready, you can scatter the heirloom wildflower seeds on top of the beliefs and water regularly. This part of the ceremony may take you days or weeks to complete. There is no rush. Only you can undertake this at a pace that is right for you. Say to yourself: I have time.
(These seeds are a Cosmos variety. If you do not reside in Australia and it is not spring/early summer upon purchase, you can simply use the dried wildflower that is enclosed as a symbolic part of the ritual, instead of planting the seeds. In this case, simply store the seeds in a moisture proof container in your fridge and wait until Spring to plant).
After a minimum of fifteen minutes, take the internal strainer out of the teapot and discard the used herbs.
Optional: squeeze lemon into the blend to further enhance the sweetness and create a little bit of colour magic. This is a beautiful metaphor of the transformation that can occur when you compost the beliefs that are holding you back from true peace.
